CJ joined ABS-CBN's talent search “Star Circle Quest: Kids Edition” where he got into "Magic Circle of 5" and finished as the fourth placer. Comedy runs in CJ’s veins as he has spent years honing his skills in several Kapamilya comedy shows like “Goin’ Bulilit” and “LuvU.” However, he was able to flex his talent even more upon joining the third season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” in 2021.
